UNITED TEAMS BRING HOME THE GOLD

Playing in only their third tournament since forming, United 01 Black took first place in the Stafford Area Soccer Club’s St. Patrick’s Day Tournament, held March 19th & 20th. The under 9 girls had a  record of 3 wins and 1 loss, scoring 11 goals and allowing just 3. They are looking forward to another successful league season this spring.

United 98 Black also captured the first place trophy. The under 12 boys team went undefeated scoring 14 goals and allowing just 5. They defeated teams from the District of Columbia, Richmond and Northern Virginia areas. The championship game was a hard fought battle against the host club’s Revolution 98 team in which United prevailed 3 - 2.
